How the Build Works

The foundation of this build lies in self-ignition and recoup mechanics. By combining Self Immolation and Path of Exile 2 Currency One With Flame, your character ignites itself - but thanks to these key passives, you take no damage from it.

Once ignited, Cracklecreep causes your character to emit powerful ignite proliferations around you, spreading burning damage to everything in range. Pair this with Sacrosanctum, which recoups a massive portion of incoming damage as ES, and you've got a self-sustaining powerhouse that burns enemies automatically.

The rotation? Practically none. You simply start the encounter with a single Flameblast to ignite yourself - after that, the build becomes a 0-button autopilot experience. You'll walk through enemies, and they'll burn before they can even react.

Budget and Investment

This isn't a league starter build. It's a mid- to high-budget setup, relying on specific uniques and well-crafted rares. Expect to invest around 20-30 Divine Orbs to make it functional, and up to 50+ Divines for full optimization.

However, many ignite-related Path of Exile 2 Items are undervalued in the current meta, making them cheaper than comparable meta builds.

Leveling

Leveling directly as this build is not recommended. The core Path of Exile 2 Items, like Sacrosanctum and Cracklecreep, are not accessible early, and the playstyle depends on self-ignite immunity.

Instead, level using Essence Drain and Contagion until at least Level 85. Once you've gathered the required uniques and enough Energy Shield, respec into the Ignite Recoup setup.
